I love the ritual of having a bath so when we moved in I knew it was must have to add to the house at some point.
We didn't really have a big budget to do to a full bathroom renovation so we decided the most cost effective way to add a bath was to put it in our en-suite shower room and take the cubicle shower out.
That way we could avoid re-tiling a large area and just add a simple base cut to size for the bath to go on. We ordered a freestanding bath and replaced the shower attachment with a spout to fill the bath.
There’s still a few things I want to add in here to spruce it up a bit, maybe some artwork or a shelf. I'm so pleased to finally have a bath, I'm going to turn it into a little luxurious sanctuary (unless the kids beat me to it - they can't wait to have a bath)!
